OK, not a surprise, it's snowing again. Quite expected in this time of the year I guess.
But, hey, what about Albert Mallon? The Brooklyn Heights resident had his car stuck in the snow for a week now. Tough.

Back to the trip in France we did a few weeks ago.
It will be a nice break with the NYC cold and bring some good memories like this delicious cassoulet after a short evening walk in Toulouse…

Bagneres de bigorre… Ahhh… That's sounds quite exotic here back in the US and in a way it is.
Just go to the market on a Saturday morning and see all the beautiful, fresh products for sale. A dream...
What a splurge we had on [ raw milk ] cheeses, pastries, bread, poultry and meat that Jean and my mum cooked so well…

TRAIN TO OSTENDE

First stop when arriving home is of course to pass the border [ well, not really anymore ] to Belgium and head to Ostende. The Belgium cost is full of memory for people like myself that have been raised in North of France and many of us have spent their early vacations quite close.

Just came back from two weeks in France.
It was so good to travel back there, see family, friends as well as the country. We really enjoyed it a lot.
